tricky-addon-enhanced: Silent TrickyStore & TEESimulator Management

Enhance your system by automating TrickyStore & TEESimulator with keybox rotation, patch management, and VBHash spoofing. Provides a single, efficient daemon for streamlined system control.

Tricky Addon Enhanced is a native Rust daemon designed to automate the management of TrickyStore and TEESimulator. It silently handles keybox rotation, security patch spoofing, VBHash injection, attestation engine monitoring, and target list management after a single installation. This project was rebuilt from scratch in Rust to address the limitations of previous shell-based approaches, offering improved efficiency and stability.

This project features a clean-room rewrite in Rust, resulting in significant performance improvements (reduced wakeups, JVM spawns, and CPU usage). Keybox management handles multiple sources with failover and automatic backup. It offers a user-friendly web interface for monitoring and configuration, with real-time status updates and a dark theme. It also handles conflicting modules, provides a live status monitor, and supports a comprehensive set of features for enhanced system control.

  • Keybox Management: Automates keybox rotation, backup, and generation with multiple sources and validation.
  • Security Patch Automation: Automatically sets system, boot, and vendor patch levels on boot and fetches the latest patch dates.
  • VBHash Spoofing: Spoofs various properties, including vbmeta.digest, at install time with a fallback mechanism.
  • Conflict Detection: Detects and handles conflicting modules, providing warnings or automatic removal.
  • WebUI: Features a dark theme, live status monitoring, and intuitive controls for managing keyboxes and patch settings.

The project is currently in an active development phase with regular updates (last commit: 2026-05-01). The WebUI is feature-complete and provides a robust monitoring and configuration interface. Thorough testing and error handling are included to ensure reliability. The project is mindful of potential issues and community feedback is actively encouraged.

This project benefits advanced users seeking automated control over their Android device's attestation and key management. Real-world use cases include simplifying system maintenance, ensuring consistent security configurations, and bypassing device limitations. It offers a significant improvement in efficiency and reliability compared to manual management or alternative approaches.
